Maria Kinsella: teachers@afkilkenny.org

Maria is a qualified French teacher with a Master’s in
Education and a Bachelor’s degree in International Law and French. She spent
five years living and teaching in Lyon before returning to Ireland, where she
teaches French in a post-primary school, and works as a freelance translator
for French publishing houses. Passionate about languages and French culture,
Maria enjoys helping learners of all ages build confidence in speaking French
through engaging, practical, and enjoyable lessons. Outside the classroom, she
has a strong interest in politics, writes for a French feminist journal,
and enjoys exploring France by bike.

Lilian Devillaine

Born in France but now living in Kilkenny for the last 16 years. He looks forward to leading the Kilkenny Alliance Française book club class.  He hopes to generate some interesting conversations around various topics arising from the books we’ll be studying.
